Meet Sarge & Lily, two Bengal Tigers from the
Tiger Creek Wildlife Refuge, who receive their
veterinarian care here at Hawkins Animal Clinic.
They will be featured
in "Growing Up Tiger"
on
Animal Planet.
"Growing Up Tiger" is a documentary produced by
Arden Entertainment.
The
Tiger Creek Wildlife Refuge, is located 8 miles
south of Hawkins on Highway 14. To find out more about

Nine Months
Here are some
updated pictures of Lily and Sarge. They have two more
film dates with Animal Planet. Dates are sometime in March
and then again in April or May. The cubs are over 100
pounds now and are doing well. They still drink from a
bottle, although they have been weaned from their mom at 5
months. They are now 9 months old. They are given bottles
as treats. East Texas Baptist University making one of
them their mascot. They will adopt the cub and
sponsor it.

Five-Month Visit
The tigers have returned for their five-month visit to the
clinic. Sarge and Lily weighed in at 61 pounds
and 50 pounds respectively. You can also see their

Initial Visit
Here are two new arrivals to the
Tiger Creek Wildlife Refuge, that have been getting their
care at the Animal Clinic. These are three-week old
Bengal Tigers. The tigers average adult weight will
be 400 pounds! You can also see their five-month
progress above.
