DR. JILL HOBBS -
Dr. Jill Kathleen Hobbs graduated from Texas A & M
University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1978 and has
been in practice since 1980. She pursued graduate
studies in the Department of Public Health at Texas A & M
before establishing her first practice in Bryan-College
Station. In 1993, Dr. Hobbs sold her College Station
practice to move back home to Winnsboro, Texas. She
worked as a full-time emergency medicine clinician at the
Animal Emergency Clinic in Tyler, Texas until 1996, when
she established the Hawkins clinic. Dr. Hobbs works
with pet rescue/adoption organizations and has been active
in helping to establish a humane society/animal shelter in
the Hawkins area. She has been married for 27 years
to Johnny Hobbs and has three children, Seth, Jessica, and
Kathleen.
DR. JANET SMITH -
Dr. Janet Smith is a 1972 graduate of Texas A & M
University College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon
graduation, she worked in the Dallas area from 1972 to
1978. While in the Dallas area, she worked at Irving
and Garland small animal practices. From 1979 to
2001, Dr. Smith owned and operated a small animal clinic
before moving to East Texas in February 2002.
STEFFANY CATON -
Steffany has worked for the Hawkins & Holly Lake Animal
Clinics since June 2001. She works part-time, since
she will be graduating from Winnsboro High School in 2003.
MELINDA CLIFTON -
Melinda has worked for the clinics since February 2002.
She also keeps busy by working at the Tyler Animal
Emergency Clinic, where she has been employed since August
2000.
BARBARA DEEN -
Barbara has 30 years of animal rescue experience and is
Co-Founder of Pick of the Litter. During
these years she has also been a trainer and student of
animal training and animal behavior. Barbara is a
member of the Tyler Obedience Training and Dog Training
Club of Dallas.
KATHLEEN HOBBS -
After seven years of working at Hawkins &
Holly Lake, Kathleen has this to say about working at the
clinics..."The accomplishments of my mother have made it
possible for her business to flourish. After seven
years under Dr. Hobbs supervision as well as parental
guidance, I have gained a new respect for her. I
Love You Mom!"

HOOTEN -
KRISTY UNDERWOOD -
Kristy is the Groomer at the Animal Clinic.
She has approximately 20 years experience in grooming and
has also been a Dog Breeder and Show Dog Handler.
